Frolic in Flora

It's that time of year.....time for the Bridal Show! I absolutely love creating a concept for and designing not only my display, but also overall decor for the show and floral designs for many other vendors booths! It is so much fun to create looks that will inspire so many brides for the upcoming year.

So as I plan for this coming show, I thought I'd take a look back at last January's show.
Our theme was "Flowers Fit of a Queen".

We imagined that this queen took an afternoon to frolic in flora.....and this was the result!

Check out these gorgeous birds laden with orchids!

We even had a model and live birds as part of the display!

Love these boutonnieres!!!

Soooo looking forward to this year's show! You won't want to miss it! Make sure to stop by and see us!

Who took these stunning photos you ask? Meredith Melody, that's who! Thanks so much Meredith!!!

Real Weddings: Sweet Home Alabama

I simply loved the southern grace of this gorgeous wedding of April and Jared! The color palette, floral selection and styling were just beautiful selections by a bride looking for that Sweet Home Alabama feel! April was an absolute jewel....and I'm so happy with how her day turned out!

Here is her bouquet....southern elegance is what I think of with this. Its such a graceful bouquet!

Look at those sweet halos! These were worn by the couples four precious!

At the church we did this lovely arch for the alter area as well a pew markers to tie it all together!

The look carried through to the reception....where these table pieces were just waiting to welcome the guests!

And there you have it! Congratulations to April and Jared!

Thanks so much for allowing us to be apart of your day!

Many thanks to Meagan K Photography for the lovely photos!

Real Weddings: Sarah and Eric

Well, well, well, guess who has some lovely photos of a most gorgeous wedding to share with you!!!!!
These are from the wedding day of Sarah and Eric.....and what a simply lovely day it was!

First off, some great looking ladies and gents showing off their bouquets and bouts.
Simply stunningly taken at the Capital!

Next a glimpse of some time alone with the Bride and Groom! So precious! I love it when a couple uses a vintage car...there is such an timeless elegance in that. And this gorgeous car, I'm happy to say is one of my husband's! I love how he has turned his love of vintage cars into a reality that so many couples have been able to enjoy on their wedding day!

On to the church! Love the pew markers and flower girl pomanders!
Just look at that cute ring barer and his adorable sign!

Sarah is just beaming!!!!!

The reception was beautiful, with white and Tiffany blue.
We used lots of curly willow with peonies, hydrangeas and tulips.

And away they went! Congratulations to Sarah and Eric!!!!!
Thanks so much for allowing us to be apart of your special day!

Many many thanks to Melissa McCrotty Photography for the gorgeous pictures!

Real Weddings: Near and Dear

Today I get to share will you the sweet wedding of Nicole and Zac! This wedding was very near and dear to my heart for two reasons.

1) Sweet Nicole is my cousin's daughter. Its soooo much fun to create beauty for the ones you love.
2)The wedding took place in my stomping hometown, Fort Smith AR. I LOVE it there, and am so excited to have several brides there this coming year!

Sadly, I wasn't able to be at her wedding our even see her all dressed up like I do so many of my brides. She got married on one of the very busiest days in June, and I had several weddings to design for in Little Rock that day. That however didn't stop me from creating for her wedding. I went up the day before and set everything up for turned out splendidly!

We went with a slight woodland feel for Nicole, and it turned out beautifully! You will see the woodland elements come through in the bouquets, ceremony floral and guest table centerpieces.

So without further ado.....Congratulations Nicole and Zac!!!!

Thanks so much to Beaty Photograhpy for the beautiful images.
