Real Weddings: Laura and Casey

Today I get to share with you a lovely Christmas wedding! This is a glimpse into such a sweet day celebrating the love shared between Laura and Casey! I have to say that I loved creating her bouquet! The bits of lace along with the Christmas greens and pine cones went smashingly with the ivory floral. It turned out beautifully!!!

As always we loved working with the Pam and Amy at Details Wedding and Events. They are wonderful coordinators and make everything run so smooth! And of course....these fabulous photos were taken by the Beatys!

Look at the arbor behind them in the ceremony! It was so much fun to create!

Love the mixed seating look with the long and round tables! We did the babies breath orbs with accenting Christmas greens. Laura gave this whole look her personal touch by collecting and supplying for us the many small vases and candlesticks and other small accents that you will see on many of the guest tables!

Real Weddings: Crystal and Vernon

Allow me to introduce to you Crystal and Vernon! 

They are both marine biologists and I knew they were going to have an incredible wedding day the moment I met them! Crystal came in looking for something different, something whimsical, modern and full of her personality.  Just wait till you see all that we created for her!

We went with monochromatic green floral with blue accents! Such a beautiful color pallet and the selections we were able to use to give it a whimsical twist were phenomenal. From orchids, calla lilies and peacock feathers, all the way to braided palm leaves, anthurium and other ohhh so cool tropical foliages. These designs hit my excitement button! You know....the one where you are find yourself just dancing for joy out of sheer excitement that cannot be contained?!?! That's the one! 

 

Crystal had also chosen  Tish Bullard  to be her coordinator and she is fantastic at what she does. As always it was go great to work with Tish on this! The Arts Center was a great location for this setting! 

 Loved these centerpieces...and the braided palm leaves are FABULOUS!!!!

Well, there you have it! I was stoked to be apart of this fabulous couple's day!

Frolic in Flora

It's that time of year.....time for the Bridal Show! I absolutely love creating a concept for and designing not only my display, but also overall decor for the show and floral designs for many other vendors booths! It is so much fun to create looks that will inspire so many brides for the upcoming year.

So as I plan for this coming show, I thought I'd take a look back at last January's show. 

Our theme was "Flowers Fit of a Queen". 

We imagined that this queen took an afternoon to frolic in flora.....and this was the result!

 

 

 Check out these gorgeous birds laden with orchids!

We even had a model and live birds as part of the display!

Real Weddings: Sweet Home Alabama

I simply loved the southern grace of this gorgeous wedding of April and Jared! The color palette, floral selection and styling were just beautiful selections by a bride looking for that Sweet Home Alabama feel! April was an absolute jewel....and I'm so happy with how her day turned out!

Here is her bouquet....southern elegance is what I think of with this. Its such a graceful bouquet!

Look at those sweet halos! These were worn by the couples four daughters.....so precious!

At the church we did this lovely arch for the alter area as well a pew markers to tie it all together!

The look carried through to the reception....where these table pieces were just waiting to welcome the guests!
